Rosemary is an artist whose work is deeply rooted in the exploration of nature and the interplay of materials.  Based on the serene Mornington Peninsula, she draws inspiration from the surrounding bushland and gardens, cultivating a rich environment for creativity.

Working with a diverse range of mediums - including encaustic wax, oil pastel, ink, and gold leaf - Rosemary embraces the unique qualities of each material.  This experimentation adds layers of interest and complexity to the artwork.  Her intuitive approach allows the creative process to unfold organically, revealing a narrative that speaks to the viewer.

Through the gradual building of layers, Rosemary creates an illusion of depth, often sanding and rubbing back surfaces to evoke a weathered appearance that reflects the passage of time.  This meticulous process invites contemplation and evokes a sense of harmony, intrigue, and sensitivity to the subject matter.

Many hours are spent in her studio, where she finds an endless supply of ideas and inspiration.  Rosemary aims to create timeless works that resonate with viewers, inviting them to connect with the natural world and the stories it holds.
